Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive exfoliating treatment that uses fine crystals to gently remove dead skin cells from the surface. This process helps to improve skin texture, reduce the appearance of fine lines, and unclog pores, leaving your skin smoother, brighter, and more radiant after just one session.
FAQs
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Microdermabrasion works using medical grade crystals, alongside vacuum suction, to manually exfoliate the surface of the skin. It removes dead skin cells and stimulates lymphatic drainage and cell turnover.
HOW LONG DO RESULTS LAST?
As the skin is always renewing itself, it is impossible to say how long the effects of a Microdermabrasion will last. A good tailored, home skincare routine will enhance the duration of results.
We recommend a course of 4-6 treatments, 4 weeks apart for optimum results.
WHO IS THE MICRODERMABRASION NOT SUITABLE FOR?
It is not suitable when pregnant or breastfeeding.
It may not be recommended for highly sensitised skin.
It may not be recommended for excessively oily or actively breaking out skin.
It is not suitable for people who are currently, or in the previous 18 months, have used Roaccutane (acne treatment).
A full medical history and assessment will be carried out for every client to ensure suitability for treatment.
ARE THERE ANY CONTRA-INDICATIONS?

Avoid retinol use for 7 days prior to treatment.
Avoid facial waxing for 7 days prior to treatment.
Avoid the use of active acids for 3 days prior to treatment.
Avoid Microblading eyebrows for 6 weeks prior to treatment.

IS IT SORE?
No, you will feel a slight scraping sensation during the Microdermabrasion process, which can be adjusted to your tolerance. You may also feel sensitivity when your peel is applied but we give you a handheld fan to use to ensure you are comfortable.
